Chief Risk Officer and Secretary
Ms. Newsom was named Chief Risk Officer of the Company in 2019 and has served as Secretary of the Company since 2013. She has worked more than 25 years with the Bank and its predecessors and has served as Chief Risk Officer of the Bank since 2015. Mikella currently serves on the board of the Texas Bankers Association and on the Board of Managers of University Medical Center in Lubbock. She previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Frenship Independent School District. Ms. Newsom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Texas Tech University in 1996.
